Clean Car Mats Soda Spill

Mix 1 teaspoon of liquid dish detergent with 2 cups of warm water not hot water. Mix a tablespoon of dishwashing liquid with a cup and a half of water. Lightly rub the area with a cloth or a soft brush to work the baking soda into the fabric. Apply baking soda to the dried area of the spill.

Ensure you cover the spill completely. Then blot the liquid up with a clean cloth. Mix 1 tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide with 3 tablespoons of warm water not hot water. The dish detergent should be clear in color without bleaching properties.

To remove a soda stain from cloth upholstered seats first pour a little cool water on it to dilute the stain. Apply the brush to the top side of the floor mat and gently scrub away dirt and grime using a circular motion.
